Thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking view from the room. The one bedroom suite was great for two friends. Location was very convenient to downtown. The hotel is gaining their way back from Irma and should be up to 100% soon. Excellent staff and wonderful breakfast with the best ocean view in town. Will return!
My wife and I stay here at least once a year. I don't believe there is a bad room in this hotel. Every one we have been in has had a great view. We just stayed in one of the suite rooms. We could have fit an entire family in that room. It had two large separate balconies with amazing views.
The staff was extremely friendly, however the room was musky and there were cockroaches in the bed and on the floor. No bottled water, tissues or glassware in the bedroom. None of the little free-bees you come to expect in a modern hotel room. The location was great however and the room was huge. So if you don't mind killing a few bugs and wearing shoes in your hotel room, it's a good deal.
The view of the beach was beautiful. The room was clean and very spacious. I look forward to returning when I can stay longer. The five stars go to the gentleman who checked us in and took care of us. His name is Alex and should definitely be commended and used as an example of how every hotel employee should treat their guest. After we checked in later that evening we found Alex out front at the beach entrance raking sand and moving debris out of the way of the steps. He definitely understands what it means to go above and beyond.
This hotel is located right on the beach with ocean views. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable and included a nice kitchenette. Unfortunately the pool and the restaurant were closed for renovations due to the recent hurricane but the hotel did contact me several days in advance to let me know of the renovations which would have given me time to cancel if so desired. There are many restaurants close by as well as Flagler Ave which also has restaurants and shops and beach access.
