This campground was terrible and looked so much worse in person than the website and googles photos represent.
9. There are signs all over the place saying to pick up after your pet, but there's literally NO trash cans anywhere!!! Including the dog park.
We always have a good time here. It's only 5 min. to the beach. Reasonable prices and close to everything you need.
Was very un happy with my stay here the lots are crouded and the place is a swamp the play ground is just a mud pit and the dog park has huge holes in the fence. The brunette woman in the office is very short with you and acts as though you are bothering her when you try to shop at the camp store. Lots of year round residents that are also very rude. Not at all what I expected. Will not be returning
Had a horrible stay the staff is very impolite and the brunette woman in the office is just down right rude. The spaces are very cramped and the bathrooms are pretty filthy. I will not be back.
11. Lastly, the park has a lot of full timers who don't seem to care how their site looks. It really gave the whole place a dumpy look. One camper even had empty beer boxes stacked up against the camper.
1. At check in I was charged an $18 "hotel fee." That was a first for me....and we've been camping once a month for 2+ years.
7. It rained pretty hard the first day we were there, and we woke up to a small river flowing through our site. I was going to complain and asked to be moved, but quickly realized I had one of the driest spots in the place. The whole place remained a Disgusting, sloppy, wet, muddy mess for our remaining 3 days.
5. When I went into the front office to ask if my credit card could be charged in exchange for coins for laundry, the brunette lady was extemely short with me and acted like I was bothering her. (For the record, I fully expected the answer to be no, and it was, in fact, a no.)
6. Next to laundry theres a sign that says we are not responsible for power surges. Clearly the shady electric job I witnessed earlier has caused problems in the past....
10. The dog park was cute, but was completely flooded and muddy. There's also a huge gap where the chainlink ends. They attempted to fix it by adding some flimsy chicken wire to the bottom, but didnt even stake it down. Even a large dog could easily push out. And to make things worse, the dog park is right on the main road which is pretty busy. Thank god my dogs don't mess with fencing, but there really needs to be a repair or some warning of this issue.
3. The electic pole looks almost homemade and not professionally done at all. There wasnt even a circuit breaker on the pole.
8. The place is full of bad dips and holes. They had the front entrance leveled/graded while we were there, but clearly that's the only part of the park they ever do.
4. Laundry was outdoors and pathetic. Oh and $2.00 per wash load (a pretty small load too!) and $1.75 to dry. Highest prices I've seen yet for laundry (at a campground).
Anyways, we will definitely NOT be returning to this campground. We even left a day earlier than planned.
Great amenities, friendliest people, lots of activities! Best park I've been in bar none!
2. The spots are extremely tight and were difficult to get into and out of.
Here's a list of reasons why I hated it (in order of how the events occurred):
